Here, DEV’UP Centre-Val de Loire brings together regional companies who will be promoting their products with the support of the Centre-Val de Loire Region (in 2025, 47 exhibitors on nearly 600 m²).
The region’s aerospace and defence industries are thriving, with over 21,000 and 18,000 employees respectively.

42 regional aeronautics companies will showcase their expertise and skills.

Coordinated by DEV’UP Centre-Val de Loire and supported by the Centre-Val de Loire Region, the regional delegation will be comprised of 42 aeronautics industry professionals, as well as the Aérocentre Regional Center of Excellence and some of its members – find our pavilion in Hall 4 / E135.

Aeronautics is one of the most dynamic industries internationally, as evidenced by the well-filled order books of historic aircraft manufacturers. The rise in air traffic is boosting this sector, which boasts one of the most complex supply chains in the world. The regional aeronautics industry brings together both internationally renowned equipment manufacturers and SMEs with diverse skills.

The Centre-Val de Loire aeronautics sector boasted 325 factories employing 21,570 people. 39 establishments are owned by foreign-owned companies, led by the United States, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and Sweden.

With 230 establishments, 18,524 employees in 2023, as well as 13,100 military personnel and 4,200 civilians supported by the Ministry of the Armed Forces, the region is home to leading arms manufacturers whose markets extend beyond air defense to maritime and land defense. The presence of these industrial prime contractors in the region is an asset for many local SMEs and mid-cap companies, eager to demonstrate their ability to meet complex industrial challenges in a demanding sector.
